Elkem Silicones’ new capacity for advanced electronics adhesives has been put into service in Shanghai recently and operating efficiently. The production line is focused on manufacturing of high-end thermal conductive products.
As a material widely used in the manufacturing of new energy battery packs, charging piles, and electronic equipment, electronics-grade silicone adhesives ensure the long-term stable operation of electronic components in various use scenarios. With the new production line put into operation, Elkem Silicones will increase its production capacity by about 1,500 tons per year, further diversifying its electronic adhesive product portfolio and meeting the high-end electronic adhesive demand from downstream industries.
