Recently, the 2017 awarding ceremony of the Scientific and Technological Awards of China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) was held in Beijing. “Desalination Technology and Engineering” by Academician Gao Congjiu and Chief Engineer Yang Bo of Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology Development Center won the second prize of the 2017 CPCIF Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
The award is formally approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and designed to encourage scientific and technological workers to be creative in their work and honor outstanding contributions made by scientific and technological workers and units in the oil and chemical industry. 32 Technological Invention Awards, 143 Scientific and Technological Progress Awards, 10 Awards for Outstanding Contributions Made by Youth in Science and Technology and 3 Innovative Team Awards were presented at the ceremony.
