On November 18, Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd (BCMC) signed an EPC contract with the Bangladeshi SR Chemical Group concerning yielding 30,000 tons of caustic soda per year. It is BCMC’s first overseas EPC project for complete equipment of caustic soda, indicating that BCMC has made breakthroughs in actively promoting the internalization of the “Belt and Road” initiative.

In recent years, BCMC has been committed to transforming itself from a core chloro-alkaline equipment manufacturer to an international engineering company providing its users with EPC services related to caustic soda unit. After unremitting efforts, BCMC has made great headway in its international business.

After BCMC learnt that the Bangladeshi SR Chemical Group was buying second-hand chloro-alkaline equipments, it made active preparations and ultimately won the deal by relying on its strong R&D capabilities, sound product quality and efficient marketing strategy. BCMC planned to build a new chloro-alkaline facility in Bogra, Bangladesh by using its “High-current density electrolytic cell technology”. On November 18, the two sides signed the contract and held the kick-off meeting to determine specific matters including the general layout design of the project site.

BCMC will continue to explore its international market, make unremitting efforts in terms of resources allocation and talent training, etc., strive to make greater achievements, give full play to the strategy of building it into a “professional, engineering, international and service-oriented” company, and keep enhancing its brand influence.
