(Correspondent: Huang Pingliang) On April 10, Sichuan Science and Technology Award Conference, hosted by Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Sichuan Provincial Government, was held in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province, to give commendation to sci-tech workers who has made outstanding contributions to Sichuan science and technology undertakings. The project of “technology development and industrial application of natural gas preparation through the methanation of coke oven gas (compensating CO2) ”, applied by Sichuan Tianyi Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter called Tianyi Science & Technology) and Southwest Research & Design Institute of Chemical Industry, was granted the first prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award. The project of “technology development for purification and comprehensive utilization of calcium carbide furnace exhaust and sodium salt electrolysis exhaust”, jointly applied by Mao County Xin New Energy Co., Ltd., Sichuan Minjiangxue Salt Chemical Co., Ltd. and Mao County New Era Metallurgical Co., Ltd., was granted the second prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award.
