The 21st Sino-French Economic Symposium & the Awarding Ceremony for the 3rd Sino-French Team Cooperation & Innovation Awards was celebrated in Beijing, and the ANTARES (the treatment of ammonium sulfate with resin) team from Adisseo Nanjing won the third prize for research and development.
ANTARES is to optimize ammonium sulfate units, led by the Adisseo Nanjing R&D team in partnership with Xi’an Sunresin Inc. It’s been recently approved to enter the stage of industrialization. Without consuming extra water, it can reduce the sulphur emission into the atmosphere, improve the quality of ammonium sulfate products and enhance environmental and economic sustainability.
The Sino-French Economic Symposium was initiated in 1994 jointly by the France-China Committee in France, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Development Research Center of the State Council (the last was not a joint organizer until 2007), chaired by former French Prime Minister Raymond Barre (1995-1999), former French President Valéry Giscard d’Estaing (2000-2008) and former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin (2009 till now). The Sino-French Team Cooperation and Innovation Awards were set up to promote further cooperation between Chinese and French innovation teams in areas of digitalization, services, market, high technology, environment, and industry.
