(Correspondent: Jin Xin) Recently Southwest Research & Design Institute of Chemical Industry (“Southwest Institute”) has convened the kick-off meeting for the R&D and engineering enlargement of low-rank coal pyrolysis with directional regulation, a key national R&D project. The meeting attracted 20 participants including experts and backbone researchers, and was chaired by Wang Xiaodong, Party secretary of the Southwest Institute and the project head.
This is the fourth subject of the national key R&D project – Key Technology Research for Quality Transformation of Coal Pyrolysis and Gasification for the Making of Clean Gas – led by Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd., aimed to break the key technological bottleneck to the clean transformation of low-rank coal, solve the difficulties in high-temperature gas-solid separation in low- and medium-temperature pyrolysis, realize directional regulation of the product and massive commercial application of the low-temperature pyrolysis of low-rank coal, and provide technical support for industrial transformation and upgrade and strong impetus to the accelerating clean development and utilization of coal, and a safe, reliable energy supply for the socialist modernization cause in China.
Conferees listened to and actively discussed the reports on the overview, progress, management requirements of the project and the subject “R&D and Engineering Enlargement of Low-Rank Coal Pyrolysis with Directional Regulation”, as well as the implementation plan for sub-subjects.
They reviewed and adopted the administrative measures for the project and the budget, budget allocation measures, detailed administrative rules on the subject, and demanded strict compliance with relevant national regulations and project/subject management requirements in the implementation of each sub-subject, so as to do a good job in sub-subject implementation and management and ensure the success of the subject.
