Recently, the braking system rubber hose produced by Chonche Group Nanjing No.7425 Factory for Thailand 115 meter gauge passenger trains project has been supplied to the first testing train. This order would enhance the long-term cooperation between Nanjing No. 7425 Factory and Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd, and would have enabling influences on China-Thailand cooperation in railway construction and agriculture.
After contracting this project, Changchun Railway Vehicles published an announcement on public bidding of parts procurement. Nanjing No. 7425 Factory won the bidding of the braking system rubber hose supply for the train body and running gear, thanks to its advantages in production cycle and quality among 8 suppliers.
According to the report, the value of this contract of 115 trains was higher than any other passenger train procurement contracts signed by State Railway of Thailand ever before, and marked the first export of China’s stainless steel meter gauge passenger train.
