Given that modified plastic enterprises are part of the supply chain for automobile manufacturers, it is crucial for modified plastic producers to get certified by the ISO/TS16949 quality management system for entry into the automobile industry.
In June 2012, the Engineering Plastic Department of Zhonglan Chenguang Research Institute began to prepare for certification by the ISO/TS16949 quality management system. The preparations comprise the five phases of system training, establishment, operation, improvement and certification. During the process the Engineering Plastic Department, in light of process management notion, has established the quality management system in conformity to ISO/TS16949, improved the three processes of customer guidance, management and support, better guaranteed the complete automobile quality, met requirements of special industries, and finally obtained the quality management system certification certificate, which is bound to play a very important role in building a modified plastic brand of Zhonglan Chenguang.
