China National Tire & Rubber set up a technical experts committee and held the first committee meeting on Aug 21 in the form of a video conference. The committee will serve as another platform for internal business collaboration following the purchase and sales manager joint meetings. The committee signifies the company’s efforts to integrate similar business sectors, share innovation resources and standardize technical work.
To fully make use of technical resources, the company set up the chief engineer joint meeting in 2010. The meeting has played a positive role in promoting internal technical exchange and cooperation, as well as R&D cooperation with institutions of higher learning. Only by expanding the range of participants and enriching functions can the company’s technical and R&D needs be met. To this end, the experts committee will gather R&D and technical management elites within the system.
The company will use the experts committee to take advantage of technical and economic expertise in scientific innovation, project building and management, consulting, and decision-making on major key technical problems. It will also promote communication and integration among companies to raise R&D efficiency and enhance the company’s innovation level. At the same time, the experts committee will integrate annual work with talent cultivation to find and foster excellent workers and continue to inject new blood into the committee, making it a think tank and talent reserve base for the company.
The technical expert committee constitution was also passed at the meeting, along with a list of members. Participants also discussed the work plan for this year and the future.
