ChemChina and China National Tire & Rubber arranged a group of experts to perform a risk survey on Guilin Tire from June 3-7. The group includes Lei Ting, account director at Willis; Dr Xu Qiang from the risk management department; and other disaster and fire prevention experts from Ping An Insurance, China Pacific Insurance, and China Life Property & Casualty Insurance.
The survey aims to facilitate a better understanding of the company’s risk management, offer improvement advice and help raise the risk management level. It will optimize Guilin Tire’s insurance plan based on its practical needs. Experts studied the company document and exchanged notes during the survey, while going to the production site to collect information about asset distribution, process, equipment, firefighting and environment protection, safety management and ongoing projects. They also checked risk measures and efficiency at the new and former plants and offered suggestions on improvement.
The company listened to the experts and increased its safety awareness. It will hold workshop meetings to address the problems pointed out by experts and come up with a proper insurance scheme.
