Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co Ltd and Asahi Kasei Corporation reached an agreement to establish a joint venture: Bluestar Asahi Kasei (Beijing) Energy Savings Electrolysis Technology Co Ltd. Relevant procedures are being transacted.
It would be engaged in the business of electrolyzers and electrodes renewing and energy saving equipment with registered capital of two millions dollars which would be contributed 50% respectively by each enterprise before the end of 2012.
With rapid developments and the transformation of the global chlor-alkali sector of the market, cooperation between BlueStar Beijing and Asahi Kasei has become more important. Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co Ltd introduced manufacturing technologies of bipolar ion membrane electrolyzer in June 1984 and technologies of high current density and natural circulation tank from Asahi Kasei in August 2002.
Taking advantages of their dominant position, abundant resources, advanced technologies and good services and according to governmental energy savings and emission reductions plan, two companies would upgrade its industrial technologies and devices, promote industrial upgrades and to enhance its high-tech applications to ensure stable development.
