ChemChina launches training on continuous improvement

On June 7th, ChemChina launched a one-day training program targeted at the promoters of the Continuous Improvement (CI) project initiated at various prime subsidiaries. Attending the training were ChemChina President Ren Jianxin and ChemChina Vice-president Yang Xingqiang. They were among more than 120 executives and managers from both ChemChina headquarters and its subsidiaries.

The training started from company operation and its relationship with continuous improvement, and introduced the concept of Lean Six-Sigma, DMAIC and the role of leadership, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement. The training also provided the participants with experience-sharing opportunities, studying the cases of GE, Toyota and Sinopec in the application of the CI program.
