ChemChina donated 1,000,000 yuan to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF) on April 2 to aid drought relief in southwestern China, sending a consolatory letter as well.
Since last autumn, the Southwest China has experienced severe drought, which brought great impact to people’s lives and production. ChemChina donated one million yuan to the drought-hit area almost immediately, contributing to the drought resistance of local people. Recently, some subordinated units of ChemChina have successively donated money or water to the drought-hit area.
Every year witnesses ChemChina’s efforts to care for Chinese society. Snow damage or earthquake, ChemChina never hesitates to help when the country needs it.
