On July 17, Premier Wen Jiabao and German Chancellor Angela Merkel met entrepreneurs from China and Germany in Xi’an.
Wen and Merkel listened to entrepreneurs’ opinions and advice on cooperation in economics and trade between China and Germany, answered their questions, and said that a new starting point of Sino-German relations had come.
Ren Jianxin, general manager of ChemChina, exchanged views with entrepreneurs from the German chemical industry. This symposium provided a platform for the Chinese and German chemical industry to enhance cooperation, communication and understanding on economics, trade and technology.
