The first large fleet tire management system in China has been successfully developed by Aeolus Tire. It had applied for the computer copyright protection. After a month’s trial run, it is estimated that the system can save 15-37% in tire costs for scale fleet.
The large fleet tire management system entails seven modules: fleet information management, vehicle information management, inventory management, tire use management, inquiry and statistics, intelligent measurement and recording, and GPS Global Positioning. It also sets aside multiple ports, such as for financial management and fuel consumption management. Through an implantation of an expert intelligent module, it offers a “butler” service for tires from purchase to annulment. This service can guide customers in choosing, using, maintaining, and repairing tires so that the cost of the tire’s use can be reduced and the lifespan of the tire can be prolonged.
The successful development of the large fleet’s tire management system has filled a gap in China, greatly boosted the added value of Aeolus Tire, and added a new “weapon” for its conquest of the transportation market.
