From June 20, Aeolus Tyre Company's marketing personnel will be taking turns at getting further training in the tire manufacturing process. The company wants to equip its personnel by providing them with a thorough understanding of the production process, not just sales skills. After a four-month training course, they will be proficient in their after-sales service and assistance. This is another of Aeolus’s more important efforts to improve competitiveness and its marketing and management expertise.
Aeolus separates the radial tire manufacturing process into four training modules: rubber mixing, molding, vulcanization, and OTR forming. And it separates the sales personnel into four groups for training purposes. In addition to giving sales personnel a detailed course in the tire-production process, they are also given some advanced management training the company has adopted to guarantee product quality. In this way, they convey Aeolus’s quality management ideas to customers, thereby building recognition and trust in the company.
Aeolus has also arranged for professional engineers to provide one-on-one consulting services to the customers. It also provides information on the proper use of tires and which allows the trainees to provide additional after-sales services. At the end of the training, there will be an appraisal of the trainees’ results using a paper tests, practical skills test, and discussions. Those who pass will be given a certificate. And all Aeolus sales personnel will have to have a certificate before they can work. This type of training will allow Aeolus to create a specialized group of marketers who provide customers with a comprehensive range of services, from simple tire selection and use and maintenance.
