So far this year, Guangxi Guilin Rubber Machinery Factory has won a lot of awards for scientific and technological innovations. The factory's 5000(200") tire forming vulcanizer project is awarded with the first prize for advances of science and technology in Guilin city. The steel wire circle lock device for tire forming machines, invented by the factory, is granted with the award of excellence for patents by ChemChina, as a result of the recommendation by various specialized companies and the accreditation of China chemical industry patent award expert panel. The factory is also honored with the title of model work unit for staff technological innovations by the autonomous region.
In recent years, the factory has exerted greater efforts to develop patent technologies and products with independent intellectual properties. It has promulgated a series of policies encouraging the staff to invent and innovate. It has accelerated transformation of patent results, fully demonstrated the important role of intellectual properties in support of enterprise science and technology progress, and subsequently promoted a sound and fast advance of the factory.
