Recently, A2259, A2257 and A2252 all steel radial OTR tire treads independently designed, researched and developed by Aeolus Tyre Co., Ltd. received design patent certificates from the State Intellectual Property Office. By now, the company has developed 15 types of treads of all steel radial OTR tires and 12 of them have been granted design patents.
Three types of treads have been used in tire production. Among them, A2259 and A2257 treads are mainly used in low section tires, which are assembled onto articulated dump trucks. The treads provide the tires with desirable operation stability and wear resistance. Moreover, the tires have strong self-cleaning and passing performance on loose and soft mud roads. The tires with A2252 tread are suitable for the loaders and dump trucks in mines, coal yards, sand yards and other operating conditions. The tread adopts the design of lengthwise and crosswise grooves and endows the tires with excellent antiskid performance and operation comfort. The large and even pattern and special tread rubber design ensure uniform wear and tear during use and endow the tires with a good ability to remove mud, water and stones and good antiskid performance. These patented treads now have been disseminated and applied in tire production and will greatly boost the competitiveness of the products of Aeolus and serve as a great push on the company’s business.
