Since the beginning of this year, Tianjin BlueStar has carried out competence assessments among all technical workers. In over half a year, the company organized the assessment of “must-know” basic theoretical knowledge and “must-know” practical skills and completed the assessment on all types of technical work. More than 700 technical workers from the production line participated. They all passed the two-part examination. On August 29-30, bench workers from the first repair branch plant received the field assessment on pump repair. This marked the completion of the last lot of assessments and the completion of the whole activity.
After assessing every technical post one by one, the training and education work of Tianjin BlueStar not only consolidated and raised the technical competence of the technical workers but it also shed light on the shortcomings of daily training. The company will fill those gaps in the next stage of technical training. In the future, the company will continue assessing competence within its workforce. It will also continue conducting skills training, thus building a team of capable technical workers who can withstand challenges.
