Winners of the 13th China Patent Award unfold recently. The patent of flat movable vulcanizer, applied by Liu Fuwen and Li Xinxi, technicians from Gulin Rubber Machinery Factory, won China Excellent Patent Award.
The patent technology derives from the self developed Tire Shaping and Curing Press sized in 200 inches and other machines of Guilin Rubber Machinery Factory. The characteristics lies in that the clamp force and the steam pressure are respectively borne by the outer pot of the clamping unit and the inner pot of the steam chest. The whole machine is safe and easy for installation and adjustment. The stroke of cylinder can be within the mold adjusting range and meet the requirements for increasing power, and with a simplified structure, the vulcanizing machine is able to achieve power augmentation and mold adjustment without any adjusting pad or mold adjusting equipment. In this type of vulcanizer, left and right wallboards can move simultaneously by the gear pair powered by motors, and a displacement sensor is used to ensure the precise positioning of the flat moving. The lower cost and easier processing vulcanizing machine with a relatively simple structure，is suitable for curing large sized tires.
