BlueStar (Tianjin) Chemical Co., Ltd. has launched occupational education programs in recent years to improve staff qualifications and achieved stronger results. Over 90 percent of staff workers have obtained national occupational skill qualification certificates. A few days ago, the company appointed 120 senior mechanics and multi-post operators, to fill the ranks of senior skilled workers. 13 persons were promoted from senior workers to technicians and 109 won qualifications for senior workers. Thirteen persons were employed as multi-post operators, who would enjoy job subsidies for two years.
The company has promoted staff qualifications with occupational education programs for nine years. It has improved the three-layer staff education training system, set up an improved two-layer mechanism for staff education and training, and cultivated a training and education network for the working team-branch plant-company structure. It has improved fire control and production safety training in all its professional management offices. The company has earlier introduced a mechanism of national occupational skills evaluation. It has popularized the practice to all posts covering 14 process units and supporting production. The company has extended subsidies to senior skilled workers and worker technicians, which motivated the learning enthusiasm of workers at the production line. Due to its rapid expansion over the years, the company has elevated technological qualifications of the staff. Medium-grade and senior technical workers have turned into the main body. To date, middle-rank and senior technical workers have accounted for nearly 70 percent of all staff workers in the company. It implements an appointment system for senior technical workers, which has stimulated them to study on their own that coincide with a competitive spirit.
