On June 24, ChemChina Chairman Ren Jianxin had an amicable meeting with a visiting delegation led by Klaus Schwab, founder and Executive Chairman of World Economic Forum (WEF), at ChemChina headquarters.
Ren introduced ChemChina and its recent development briefly to the guests and spoke highly of the WEF for the contributions it has made to promoting international dialogues and forging consensuses under the leadership of Mr. Schwab.
Schwab gave high opinions about ChemChina's outbound business initiatives in the past years and was positive about its strategy for global development and its worldwide deployment. Schwab invited Ren to the WEF to be held in Davos, Switzerland next year.
World Eocnmic Forum, also known as the Davos Forum, studies and discusses issues in world economy, promotes international economic cooperation and communication. As an unofficial international organization, it is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The WEF is now a very important unofficial platform where statesmen, entrepreneurs, and civil society leaders discuss economic issues of the world, have private meetings, and hold business negotiations.
