Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery recently was invited by the North American Chlorine Institute to attend its annual conference in New Orleans. It is another chloralkali association the company has joined after the chloralkali associations in Europe and Russia, marking the company’s position as a formal member.
The North American Chlorine Institute is the world’s earliest chloralkali association and has the most members at the moment. There are 190 chloralkali member producers, including 12 in the US, three in Canada and three in Mexico. The association has 19 overseas members. Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery became a new member in 2014, during the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the association. The membership will bring win-win cooperation opportunities for both sides in the future.
US demand for PVC will continue to grow steadily as a result of the cost advantages of shale gas over petroleum, as forecast by the association. Therefore, the PV industry in North America has good prospects for future development.
During the meeting, Bluestar Beijing had technical exchanges with chloralkali companies abroad, fully showcasing its technical strength. Its technology and production abilities were fully recognized after in-depth communications, paving the way for future development in North America.
