Bluestar, Go Beyond the Dreams, a microfilm developed by ChemChina, won the second-place prize in the SASAC’s online film competition titled New State-Owned Companies: The Chinese Dream on Dec 24.
ChemChina’s microfilm stood out among 418 works and received significant online votes and good reviews from experts. The prize winners will be shown on China Network Television.
The competition was sponsored by the SASAC to show the innovation, responsibility and vitality of State-owned companies. Ren Xianliang, deputy director of the State Internet Information Office, and Huang Danhua, deputy director of the SASAC, attended the awards ceremony and presented the awards to the winners.
The microfilm followed a correspondent surnamed Zhou and captured the development history of China’s first self-developed methionine project by Bluestar Adisseo. It showed the company’s changes and improvements through international cooperation and advanced management. The film reflected the dreams of companies and workers in the chemical industry several decades ago, and their efforts to realize domestic methionine production.
