China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina) recently won the title, quality benchmark for its project --- application of upgraded Lean Six Sigma, which is an advanced management system to eliminate waste.
It was the first one granted to a petrochemical company by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Since 2009, ChemChina Group has achieved nearly 1 billion yuan ($157.4 million) of economic benefits through upgrades. Leaders and workers have started to learn more advanced management methods to enhance work efficiency and corporate competitiveness, while the global economy is recovering slowly, according to group leaders.
